The Future of the Big 4

In our most recent The View From The Top, Brian Friedman discussed the potential split of EY and how it's going to impact EY, their partners, their employees, their clients, and their competitors.

While nobody knows what is going to happen, Brian gave his personal perspective given that he spent the best part of 30 years working for the big 4. In this show he:

• Provided an overview of the big 4 for those that may not be familiar with them, including the complexities of such large organizations
• Discussed the fundamental conflicts between the audit and non-audit divisions of EY, and specifically addressed:

• Looked at potential ways the company could split — trade sale, IPO, and so on
